'Alfred Nobel’s landscape', Isabel Quintanilla’s image for the 2015 MAXAM Calendar
This artwork expands the MAXAM Collection, which was founded in 1900 and grows at the rate of one newly commissioned painting each year, all of which are specifically created to illustrate the Company’s famed ‘Explosive Calendars’.

Regularly updated content will offer anecdotes and information about MAXAM’s rich, cultural legacy, allowing visitors to familiarize themselves with the paintings that have served to illustrate the famed Explosives Calendars for well over a century.
The MAXAM Collection participates in the 'Three Chilean Cervantes' Exposition in Madrid
The exposition (September 17th – October 8th) is held in honor of writers Jorge Edwards, Gonzalo Rojas and Nicanor Parra, respective winners of the 1999, 2003 and 2011 Cervantes Prize, considered to be the Spanish language’s most important literary award.
The MAXAM Foundation and the AEPE (Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors) sign a partnership agreement
The first project undertaken within this framework is the organization of the upcoming presentation of the latest addition to the MAXAM Collection and the image that will illustrate the 2015 edition of the famed Explosives Calendar, the first edition of which dates back to 1900.
The MAXAM Foundation sponsort 'Painted Light: Technique and Language'
The course will take place between the 30th of june and the 4th of july, and will include lectures by painters, conservators, critics and art historians.
The MAXAM Foundation participates in the events commemorating the life of Segismundo Moret in Cáceres
With the presentation of "MAXAM Collection 1900-2014: Past and Present of the Explosives Calendars" lecture, as well as the contribution of reproductions of 20 of its artworks to the exhibition on Segismundo Moret in the Cáceres Municipal Museum.
